Food & Diet

Do not starve yourself with strict diets.

Eat fresh food and plenty of vegetables.

Do not overeat.

Avoid processed, preserved and tinned foods.

Drink plenty of water

Cut down on coffee, tea and alcohol.

Exercise

Exercise is very important of you seriously want to get rid of cellulite. A combination of routines is best:

Aerobic exercise: cycling, walking or swimming for at least 20minutes 3 times a week.

Toning exercise to build muscle and disperse the cellulite.

Dry Skin Brushing

This will remove dead skin layers to allow your pores to eliminate waste, stimulate blood circulation, rejuvenate the nervous system and remove cellulite.

Use a natural bristle brush with a long handle.

Make sure your skin is dry and do one leg at a time.

Begin with the feet. Using light pressure, brush upwards on the top of the foot starting from the toes and then around the ankle.

Use sweeping upward strokes and do the back of the leg and then the top of the leg. Ensure that you cover every part. Keep brushing until your skin is rosy.

Pulling your skin firmly do the back of the knee and then the knee.

Move to the inside of the thigh, then do the top of the thigh and the side of the thigh. Use large upward strokes pulling towards the heart.

Do the other leg.

Do not brush over irritated or infected skin.

Start with 5 minutes a day and then gradually increase the pressure and the length of time.

Brush everyday and then after 3 months you can reduce it to 3-4 times a week.

Do it before you shower so that you can wash all the debris off after you finish brushing.

Massage

Massage helps the circulation and breaks down fat and cellulite.

Put some massage lotion or an essential oil (rosemary or geranium are good for cellulite) into your palms and apply to the cellulite area.

Using both hands massage the area well using kneading and squeezing movements. Give the area a good massage.

Slap the area lightly using both hands alternately to stimulate the area.

Cup your hands and pat the area using quick moverments and both hands alternately.

Finish off with slow massaging movements pulling upwards towards the groin.

You can also use a hand massaging tool.

Relaxation

Cellulite can be caused by stress. If you are constantly stressed out try to find a solution to what is causing the stress.

Find some time for yourself to relax and do things you enjoy. It can be as simple as reading a book , going for a walk or watching a favourite video.

Meditation is also good for relaxing.

Other Tips

To help your blood and lymph to circulate, thus enabling your body to eliminate the cellulite:

Avoid tight clothing

Be aware of your posture – don’t stoop.

Don’t cross your legs.

Have you ever heard anyone say “tired feet make a tired looking face”? You want to look your very best on your wedding day and your honeymoon. But you also want to feel great too. By following this guide and basic footcare methods below you can have beautiful feet to walk you down the aisle and you will feel like a princess from top to toe.

Start With A Footbath

Footbaths are a great way of relaxing and reviving your feet. You can make your own:

1. Place about 60g of a mixture of the following herbs in 1/2 a litre of boiling water and infuse for about 5 minutes: lavender, peppermint, thyme, rosemary and limeflowers.
2. Strain and add the infusion to half a bucket of warm water (do not make it too hot).
3. Soak your feet in the bucket for about 15 minutes.

Tips:

Instead of dry herbs you can also use essential oils or one of the many foot care products available on the market.

Spoil yourself with a foot spa. They are so relaxing. You simply fill them up, and sit back and enjoy the bubbles. Great in winter.

Relax With A Foot Massage

Massage can be a very soothing and enjoyable experience. It would be ideal if you could get someone else like your partner to do it for you but, lets face it, that’s not always possible!

You can easily do it yourself (even though it won’t be as enjoyable).

1. Put some moisturiser or a foot lotion onto your hands.
2. Do one foot at a time and start by squeezing the sole from top to bottom using both your thumbs. Then move to the top of your foot and keep moving around using circular motions.
3. Work around the ankle area.
4. Don’t forget the toes. Lightly pinch and pull each toe one by one.
5. Wipe off any excess lotion with a towel. Put your feet up on a pillow and relax for a while.

Tips:

Put on some relaxing music while you are having the massage. This is a good idea especially if your partner is doing the massage for you.

Finish With A Pedicure For Totally Beautiful Feet

A pedicure is highly recommended to complete the look. They are very easy to do:

1. Remove any old nail polish.
2. Use a pumice stone and/or some foot scrub to smooth any callouses or rough skin.
3. Trim the toenails horizontally and smooth down the edges using an emery board.
4. Use a nail buffer to smooth out any ridges on the surface of the nail.
5. Apply a cuticle remover around the cuticles and gently push them back using a cuticle stick wrapped in cotton wool. Wash thoroughly.
6. Separate your toes by placing a cotton ball between each toe and apply a base coat of polish. After it dries apply 2 coats of your chosen nail polish.

Tips to keep your feet looking good and feeling great:

Go barefoot as often as you can.

After showering dry them well to avoid infections.

Buy socks made from natural fibres which will allow your body to breathe and reduce perspiration.

To relieve aching feet lie with them propped up over your head for half an hour.

Finally, remember that when you slip your beautiful feet into your beautiful wedding shoes they will make you look and feel fantastic!

Why not get your bridesmaids together so that you can all pamper your feet together. Ask each bridesmaid to bring a footcare product, light some candles, grab your favourite wedding movie and have a fun and relaxing girls night.

Here are some helpful tips and ideas for accommodating and organising wedding guests who need to travel for your wedding.

6 Useful Tips For Inviting Long Distance Wedding Guests To Your Wedding

If you have guests coming from out of town, here are a few tips which will help make planning their trip for your wedding easier.

1. Send Save-The-Date cards out as soon as your wedding venue is booked. The wedding invitations for long distance guests should be sent out about 8-10 weeks before the RSVP date. This will give your guests a chance to organise for time off work (if required) and book accommodation and travel arrangements.

2. If your ceremony or reception venue are difficult to find then you can include a small map or directions on how to get there with your invitations.

3.Choose venues that offer accommodation or have accommodation close by to prevent your guests from drink driving. You can include the names of hotels/motels and their phone numbers or websites on the back of your map.

//-->

<script type="text/javascript"

4.If the majority of your guests need to stay overnight or for the weekend then you may consider having your wedding on a Saturday rather than a Sunday so they can be back at work on Monday.

5.You can suggest that they book a holiday rental for the weekend. There are many beautiful places that have modern facilities and beautiful views. Some of them sleep up to 12 people. They are also good for family groups.

6.Transport companies nowadays provide transport to and from airports and also mini buses that can pick up groups of people from where they are staying and drive them to functions.

When you are deciding on your wedding flowers you may also want to consider not only choosing them by color but also according to their meaning.

Choosing a Bridal Bouquet Using the Language Of Flowers

Flowers are not only a beautiful addition to wedding decorations but they also have meanings.
If you want to create and bridal bouquet using wedding flowers with meaning you may like to consider the meanings of the flowers when you are choosing the flowers for your wedding day. The flower meanings below will give you an idea of what the different flowers mean.

But regardless of what meanings have been assigned to certain flowers in history the most important thing to consider is what you would like and what is meaningful to you. You may simply prefer a flower because you like it or it could be a flower that your fiance gave you on your first date, or maybe it is from your family garden. Whatever the reason your bridal bouquet will be beautiful because it means something to you.

It All Starts With The Wedding Stationery
Stationery is an important part of your wedding day. These guidelines will help you to work out what you will need, how many and when to send.

Invitations

The invitation will be the first thing that your guests will see regarding your wedding. It will set the tone for the formality of the day and tell your guests all about the event. Make a good first impression by choosing beautiful, quality invitations to match the style or theme of your day.

Number required: 1 invitation per couple 1 invitation per family 1 invitation per single person

When to send:Depending on whether your guests are coming from out of town or
overseas you will need to send them out 8-6 weeks before the event. Your guests should receive their invitations no less than 6 weeks before the wedding.

Invitation wording:

There are many different formats depending on who is doing the inviting and the formality of the day. Whatever wording you choose, make sure you ask someone to read through it to double check it for any errors before you submit it for printing.

Parties Online supply a wide range of DIY Invitations and Stationery.

Reply Cards

Reply cards make it easier for your guests to reply to your invitation. They are placed into a smaller envelope and mailed to your guests together with the invitation.

Number required: 1 Reply card per invitation.

RSVP Date: The RSVP date is usually set at about 4 weeks before the wedding to allow enough time to finalise guest numbers.

Order Of Service

The Order Of Service booklets are given out to your guests. They outline the events of the day and the wedding service. Guests will often keep them as a memento of the day.

Number required: 1 per family 1 per couple 1 per single person

Place Cards

Place cards are placed at the table settings to show your guests where to sit. Coordinate your place cards with your table decorations (napkins, flowers etc.) and wedding stationery for a stylish themed look.

Number required: 1 per guest

Gift Tags/Cards
If you plan to give your guests bomboniere then you may like to use gift tags, which are coordinated with the rest of your table decorations and stationery.

Number required: 1 per gift

Menus

If your guests are going to have a choice of meals during the reception then you may like to place menus at the table settings.
Sometimes the reception venue will provide the menus for you or you may prefer to use your own so that it is coordinated with the rest of your stationery.

Number required: It will depend on your budget and whether you would like to place 1 per guest or couple or table.

Thank You Cards

Thank you cards or notes are sent out to guests to thank them for their gifts.

Number required: 1 for every family, couple or person who gives you a gift.

When to send: As soon as possible after the honeymoon.

Tips

Make sure that you order extra stationery in case of errors or last minute additions to your guest list.

Ordering about 10% extra than you need is recommended.

Choose your bridal bouquet and your other wedding flowers carefully so that they are co-ordinated with the theme and style of your wedding day.

Choosing Flowers For Your Wedding

Flowers are an important part of a wedding day. When choosing flowers for your wedding you should consider the colour and style of your wedding dress, and also your bridesmaid dress colours.

The style of your wedding bouquet is just as important as the colour of the flowers. The flowers will express your wedding theme and the feel of the day. Many brides already have a favourite flower in mind even before they start planning for their wedding.
